Sherry thanking Stephane for the bottle of Champagne
that we will drink leaving the dock as we head out.
Our friends got us a beautiful sextant so that we can always
find our way back home.
They even provided books to make sure
we know what we are doing.
(I think they forgot I can't read)
The Booty!!
And to make sure we always follow our dreams,
the sextant had a beautiful engraved plaque to remind us.
What amazing friends we have... We love you guys!
Great party! They never seem to last long enough with such great friends.
ReplyDeleteYou will always have us hanging around. Great party, keep us updated.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to be around you Jim. Will take a while to get the "full" Nassco crew together again but I am sure it will.
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys... it was a blast!
ReplyDeleteGreat time with great friends! Jim n Sherry we will miss y'all but can't wait to follow along on Your Amazing Journey!
ReplyDeleteThis is a post from M/V Michelle on G dock in Kemah. Tom (and Salty) gave us your blogspot. Sounds like you guys are having a blast. We are planning on leaving in January and going the ICW to Florida and then up the east coast. We have to be in NY by the end of May. We will continue to follow your adventures. I think you also met John and Peggy from Wind Gypsy in Kemah. Hopefully our paths will cross as some point in time!
ReplyDeleteYes, we are having a great time! Sometimes, so much that I forget to take pictures for the blog. Im going to have to work on that. We are hoping to hop to the Bahamas early next week. There is a good weather window tomorrow, but we won't be ready to leave by then. We have been waiting for Dr. John and Peggy to show up here in Marathon. I need to call and see if they are stiil heading this direction. If we ever run the trip from Texas to Florida again, it will be via the ICW (LOL). No more Gulf of Mexico for me. I hope we can meet up with you sometime. Come on down south where it is warm!
